Sustainable agriculture can be understood as an ecosystem approach to agriculture.
Practices that are being followed extensively by farmers causing long term damage to soil include excessive tilling of the soil and irrigation without adequate drainage which in turn affect soil properties essential to sustainability leading to low quality and quantity of crop. To avoid such a scenario and to protect the farmers from being deprived of the quality & quantity of produce, there have being constant efforts by team Lahs Prathisthan in educating the farmers on the various techniques of framing and providing them the best of the quality of seed material for produce.
In Lahs Prathisthan we work with farmers to conserve their resources and their rights, to improve the quantity and quality of farming, by promoting and educating the farmers on sustainable organic farming technologies, innovation and practices that boost harvests, build rural incomes and sustain natural resources, these environmentally safe and sustainable methods enhance the quality and quantity of crop, plantations and livestock, as a result sustaining their livelihoods and farming.
We also promote a meaningful dialogue on development, create awareness, and provide knowledge and skill to build ecological restoration of agricultural landscapes and sustainable rural economy which effectively improve and enhance quality of life of the farming communities.
Our heart goes out for those who feed us all, & we reach out to extend our feelings and care towards them ……
